The Junior Section of the Boys’ Brigade caters for the Primary 4, 5 and 6's. We meet on a Friday evening from 7.15pm to 9.00pm. While it has a strong Christian background, it is a fun-filled evening with games, crafts and an achievement scheme spread over three years. The boys gain up to six badges, and in total do 55 achievements ranging from simple cookery to cycle maintenance. The next time your son, grandson or just a friend says "I'm bored" bring him along to join us.

All boys are eligible for the Company Section from Primary 7 upwards to 6th year in Secondary School. The Company Section allows more senior boys to take part in the activities and the decisions. A chance to build friendships, a chance to make mistakes that will not be thrown back at them, where skilled staff support can present challenges fitted to the boy. Successfully achieving one challenge is great practice for the next. Boys’ Brigade awards provide incentive and ensure progression at a rate suitable to age and growing physical strength; there are leadership opportunities to release abundant energies in purposeful ways, advancing Christ’s kingdom among boys and promoting habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, and self respect. Activities include hobbies, midnight hikes, games, competitions in sport and arts. Working toward President’s and Queen’s Badges is a key feature of 4th/5th Kilmarnock Company.
