The Guild of Friendship began with a group of retired ladies of the congregation who sought fellowship and friendship in the afternoons of the winter months rather than an evening meeting of the Guild on dark winter nights. This is an alternative to the established Church of Scotland Guild and although not affiliated to them follow a similar format of devotions, invited speakers and charity contributions. Our Guild of Friendship meets every second Thursday from October to March at 2.00pm in the lower hall, John Finnie Street. |
