The FRIENDSHIP GROUP is a group of members working together with the Pastoral Care Group of the Kirk who visit the housebound of our congregation. The Friendship Group organises a tea and home-baking afternoon on the second Wednesday of every month 2.00pm-4.00pm with the occasional invited speaker. Day trips in the summer are popular as well as the annual visit to the pantomime followed by Christmas high tea in the halls.
This years summer outing is on 28th August going to Edinburgh's Dobbies Garden World and Butterfly Kingdom, followed by high tea at Strathaven. If you would like to go the total cost is £8 per church member and £12 if you bring a friend who is not a church member.
