BOWLING CLUB
For a number of years Grange has had a weekly carpet bowls group (which is now transferring to New Laigh Kirk) and this is an opportunity to come along and join in and give it a try. It is aimed at players of all skills or none, and Billy Allan the Church Officer is the man behind it, so speak to him. Keep looking here for details of time and place which have still to be confirmed.

 PRAYER GROUP
The Prayer Group meets on the first Wednesday of every month throughout the year. It is held in the church at 7.00pm. Prayer requests come from the minister, members of the group, or indeed from our Prayer Request box on our Table of Condolence. We pray for the sick, for people in hospital, for people who are troubled, for the bereaved, for our Kirk, for world issues that concern us all. We pray also for the joy and celebrations in life that people experience and are happy to share.

TABLE OF CONDOLENCE
A Book of Condolence is available where you may remember a loved one or friend who has passed to God’s eternal light. You may write an expression of sympathy and love, the lines of a prayer, poem, song or hymn. You may make use of the Book in any way you feel appropriate in remembering your loved ones.

FLOWERS IN THE CHURCH
We have a beautiful arrangement of flowers in our Sanctuary each week throughout the year. These are given by members and friends of the congregation, often to mark anniversaries. The flowers are delivered after the morning service each Sunday, primarily to the sick, the housebound, and recently bereaved within our congregation.

The donation, display arrangement, and delivery of flowers are all expressions of prayer for which we are honoured to both give and receive when the occasion arises.

If you would like to donate flowers or make a donation to the flower fund, please contact Sheena Macpherson on 01563 524660.

THE BAND has had a wonderful time over the summer at the 9.30 am service. I am very grateful to Andrew (violin/clarinet) Stephen (trumpet) David (Trombone) Stewart (Guitar) Douglas (Bass Guitar) and (Vocals) Douglas and Sandra and the other ‘girls’ who help out. ALL have given of their time and talents to the glory of God, and , have risen to any choice of hymn/song for the Sunday service. It is our earnest desire to expand and enlarge the band - I know there are instrumentalists out there. The band will play at one service per month.
