Intimations

A warm welcome  to worship this morning from all at New Laigh Kirk. We especially welcome family and friends of Helen Brown and David Wilson who bring Kaiden for Baptism this morning. We are also delighted to welcome all our families of children bapised in the last three years to this special Cradle Roll Service. We are glad you are all here and hope you enjoy worshipping with us. Please stay a while after the service and join us for tea and coffee  served in the Church.

Worship on Sunday 14th March will be conducted by the minister beginning at 11.00am. All departments of the Sunday School meet in church at 10.50am and sit together. There will be a crèche facility for children under 3 years of age.

Worship on Wednesdays at 1.15pm is led by members of the congregation. Come and take 15 minutes of quiet time out of your busy week in the peace of our Sanctuary.Visitors will be made very welcome.

The Kirk Session and Congregational Board will meet on Tuesday 16th March in the Church.

Christian Aid Catch Up with news and campaigns will be held on Saturday 13th March from 10.00am until 12 noon in the Howard Centre.

Enquirers Classes for those who wish to become full members of the Church will begin on Thursday 11th March at 7.30pm in the Vestry. Please give your name to the minister.


The Guild will meet on Monday 8th March at 7.15pm in the lower hall.

The Highlights Klub will meet on Monday 15th March at 8.00pm in the upper hall for an edible Easter. The cost will be £3.
 
The Friendship Group will meet on Wednesday 10th March at 2.00pm in the lower hall.

Why not try our Lent Study Groups on Wednesday evenings in the session room from 7.00 - 8.00pm. The theme this year is When I survey Christ's Cross - and ours.

New Laigh Kirk is open to visitors Monday Wednesday Friday and Saturdays from 12 noon until 2.00pm. Additional cover for opening times, especially Saturdays, is needed. Please give your name to Robert Wright is you can spare an hour to keep our Kirk open to visitors.

The Badminton Club meets on Tuesday evenings at 7.00pm in the lower hall, for adults of any ability and fitness.

The Music and Movement Club meets every Tuesday in the lower hall at 2.00pm.

The Sunshine Toddlers Group meets in the lower hall on Wednesday mornings from 10.00am - 11.30am.

TAZ Youth Group for young people aged 11-16 yrs meets on Sunday evenings at 6.30pm in the halls.

Rainbows and Brownies meet on Wednesday evenings at New Laigh Kirk Halls. Rainbows meet at 5.15pm-6.15pm in the upper hall and the Brownies meet afterwards from 6.30pm – 7.30pm.

4th/5th Kilmarnock Boys’ Brigade Company Section meets on Friday evenings at 7.00pm in New Laigh Kirk Halls. Anchor Boys meet from 6.00pm-6.45pm and the Junior Section from 7.15pm-9.00pm both at St Andrews and St Marnocks Hall.

Donations of items for the East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action hygiene packs continue to be required. Any items from the list are welcome and should be brought to church on Sundays or during the week.

New Laigh Kirk notelets can be purchased after the service from Barbara Graham or Norman Hewitt. The cost will be £2.00 for a pack of ten.
